ARCHIST PRESENTS Mediaeval History for Schools
ARCHIST has a comprehensive range of presentations on Ancient and Mediaeval history for the interest and information of school students. Power Point presentations, models, questionnaires, and handout facsimile sheets impart insights into life in Mediaeval times: the feudal system and how people lived under it; the castle and its daily activities; and the crucial role of the Church in Mediaeval times. A typical presentation runs as follows: 1. Power point display on a particular subject (see here for the range of topics), taking approx. 35 mins. 2. Survey of the models on display which show the pattern of Mediaeval life. This takes another 35 to 40 minutes. 3. Students survey the models and answer questions on a handout sheet. 4. Since some mention of Magna Carta is made in the presentation a facsimile copy with translation is made available to the school and interested students.
